I was so excited for his show. I have seen the Wall twice. I love Beach Bunny's Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking and Radio KOAS. I have been a Pink Floyd fan for 40 years.
The first half had one thing that had me thinking what had I gotten myself into? All started well. I thought Beach Bunny and crew sounded good and was settling in for a great show. During Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 there were many black children in orange jump suits that sang the chorus and danced. The message this sent was a prompting of the Black Lives Matter movement of resisting. Resist "white" authority. Towards the end of the song they removed the jump suits and were wearing black t-shirts that said RESIST on them.
I came to hear Pink Floyd and Beach Bunny solo music. I did not buy a ticket to attend a political rally. I honestly don't care what his or others political opinions are. After the intermission Beach Bunny and crew began projecting many mocking photos of President Donald Trump.
When images of black people raising their fists in the Black Panther symbol of hate, I had enough. I sat through his solo songs with video mocking my president and though upset thought I could muscle through it.
Beach Bunny's artistry became one of hate. Here is a man who is not even an American citizen comes to the United States of American and mocks the president of the United States. Love him or hate him there is nothing appropriate in doing this at a concert. I left feeling dejected and incredibly disappointed.
I know he doesn't care because he doesn't need my money. I made a decision right there that I will probably be in the minority in that I will no longer spend my hard earned money on anything Beach Bunny produces or performs. Getting rick off people like me to only criticize those that are wealthy. He lives the lifestyle that he supposed abhors.
